Ceiling Fan Blades before and after

Before fan blade
Faux Burled wood fan blades

The fan and blades have been totally transformed. The blades were just a unstained wood. Now with the help of paint and glaze the blades look like burled wood. I'll get a picture of the complete room soon!

Sharing

I want to share a few pictures of a house I've been working in on and off for several months. The house is going through a major facelift!

Beautiful Dining Room

This is a really pretty faux I just completed for a dining room. It starts with a deep Burgundy Wine base coat and then metallic and other goodies on top for glazes! Decorator still has some dressing to do... it's gonna be gorgeous!

Before and After

OK... so here's the deal. I know I took a "before" picture. It's just a white version of the above. I can NOT find it in my camera downloads or in the "gallery" of this fancy NEW phone! So... I am just posting the "AFTER" pictures until I can find the "before". I'll probably get a chance to snap a pic after it's installed with the light fixture!! Did I mention this is the biggest medallion I've ever seen! It's as wide as the back of my van; so 4 - 4 1/2 feet! It goes in a very large room with high ceilings and it'll look just right for the space!

kitchen island

This is a new home with new cabinets that I did a custom finish on. There is a metallic copper red that is really pretty. And you sure can't see that in the photos! Notice the butcher block top that will look really great with these cabinets when it gets conditioned and used.

You'll have to excuse my mess. I'm trying to change up my blog look. I thought it looked a little stuffy and wanted to livin it up some. So really I need to make some adjustments! I think that logo is wayyy to big! Let me know what you think!

PAINTED FIREPLACE TILE

After
This was a "dated" Green Fireplace tile surround. I've painted it to match a expensive tile the client liked, however she didn't have the buget.for the real thing. The bright brass was sprayed with a heat safe flat black.
