GLAZED PILLAR

This is a nicely designed and constructed pillar that is the corner post to the raised dining room area. I've finished it with a simple glaze treatment which in this case proves that sometimes less is more. It looks great with the surrounding elements. In the background you can see the iron stair spindles that I also added a touch of metallic to.

PROGRESS!!!

These awesome iron pieces that I've be painting will be installed Monday at the entry of a Winery.

Mike at Capital Steel did the iron work which are huge and heavy!

Shout out to DJ and Chad for giving me the pleasure to do this job and providing a great shop to work in that has great light and heat. Also to the "muscle men" that jump to help when I need these massive pieces moved.

The top and bottom curved areas will have iron letters that bolt on

Wine bottle is iron as well; which I've painted similar to their labels

Just sprayed black which will match the others when complete
I have two more to complete; I've attached a photo of one that I started on today with the base of black DTM paint.

Faux Finish Accent Wall

This week I've been transforming a "contractor white" house to color! Yeah!! The livingroom got the works; with an accent wall done in a faux finish using greens.

Color inspiration from "the land of color"!!

I want to share this cute graphic of colors since the year 2000 to 2013. "The Land of Color" is always on top of the latest color trends.

I personally did not paint one room or piece of furniture in last years "Tangerine Tango". Not one client even thought about it!! This years "Emerald" might be in my spray gun because I can really see this color on a piece of furniture or as an accent wall. I'll patiently wait to see where "Emerald" will take me in 2013!!

Canvas Art

Something different for me to share! I painted this for my niece to hang in her office. After receiving her Masters she is working as a Middle School Counselor. This is a favorite saying of hers.
