KITCHEN MAKEOVER
I've done a "restain" on these very light oak cabinets. It's just what the customer wanted!! In the upper collage you can see the desk area is done in a two tone paint treatment! I have a few more projects in this home and then off to the next!
My year is starting out with a bang of kitchen makeovers!

DOG PORTRAIT
Wish I had better luck taking pictures of canvas work. It seems you can actually see the canvas texture, and the detail of the eyes don't show well because of it!

Countertop with concrete overlay
This countertop was the standard old laminate. I applied a concrete overlay and left it white then added veining with one color. Topped it off with a heavy duty, food safe, clear coat. Notice the short back ledge has been removed to update the look!

Awesome Bedroom
I love how this room turned out! It helps to have wonderful clients that have great taste! The room has 3 different wall colors; green ceiling, gray headboard wall and 3 walls in aqua. I painted the large designs in a metallic silver and added a glitter section and popped that ceiling green in the middle of the design. The ceiling design around the cute light fixture is a simple dot pattern done in a silver foil. I think this room is magazine worthy!!

Bathroom Face Lift!!
Commercial Bathroom Face Lift
All I can say is "Wow". A slab of granite, bowl sink, new faucet, Metallic faux finish for the cabinets and textured floor finish can really make over a room!
I am responsible for the cabinets which are done in a three layer metallic finish. To start the floor update, I troweled on a granite product over a 2 part epoxy primer . Finished with a 2 tone glaze treatment and sealed with 2 coats of floor finish.

Re purposed furniture
This one was in need of some TLC! I was not able to repair the top drawer so I ditched it and added a board to make an area to house the TV components. Now it's a neat little TV stand with plenty of room to store DVD's etc in the two remaining drawers. It's painted two toned and I stripped the top down to wood to find a very nice oak surface and decided to keep it oak!

Painted Oak Bathroom Vanity
These are Oak Cabinets that were stained a dark yet too bright red cherry which really wasn't doing the granite justice! The wall to the right of the sink is actually a curved wall with a very nice textured wallpaper

Metallic Painted Range Hood
Just finished painting this range hood. 3 layers of Modern Masters Metallic paints with a clear coat. Customer is still picking out back splash tile! The hood was actually built by the custom cabinet makers out of wood.

Cabinet Finish
Just finished this built-in cabinet in a Mason Creme finish which is a off white base coat with a very subtle overall glaze and a detailed glaze in the profile areas. This built-in had more TLC than my paint job! The decorator had the cabinet maker add the 3 drawers at the bottom to make it taller, then dressed it up with additional trim to the ceiling. A real custom piece now! Can't wait to see the new hardware the decorator selects.

Kitchen "Before and After" Cabinet Re-Stain
This kitchen got quite the "overhaul". The original blue counter tops are now a beautiful granite. Cabinet finish was almost a natural oak stain which I Re-stained darker. Gave the island a new look with a coat of black. New hardware and new back splash and like magic.... a new kitchen!! I also did the same Re-stain treatment on the original oak in the adjoining rooms' book cases and fireplace mantle.
Work in progress! You can see the darker is the re-stain area and the lighter is the original |

BOYS BEDROOM MURAL
This is a more graphic style mural than I usually paint. I do love the clean lines and the feel it gives the room. I painted the stripes first and then the football player. He's about 6 foot tall and painted in a pepper corn gray color.
